Waste Covering Technology
EPI's degradable films are engineered with extremely good tear, puncture resistance and elongation characteristics for wrapping around the waste in a bale or for covering the uneven working face of a landfill.
EPI’s film is classified as non-reusable geosynthetic alternative daily cover in ASTM D 6523-00(2009). The film is non-reusable. It does not require removal after its placement, thus saving operating cost in the removal operation.
EPI’s degradable films meet US EPA’s requirement for alternative daily cover to control disease vectors, odors, fires, blowing litter and scavenging without presenting a threat to human health and the environment.
