Enviro Cover is used as an alternative to earthen cover material. It does not require removal and provides continuous coverage before the next layer of waste is placed. Enviro Cover meets the US EPA requirement to control disease vectors, odors, fires, blowing litter, scavenging without presenting a threat to human health and the environment.
Enviro Cover is engineered with good tear and puncture resistance, and elongation characteristics for stretching over uneven working face surface. Upon burial, Enviro Cover will degrade in the landfill and it will not impede biogas and leachate collection.
Enviro Cover is available in film gauges of 1.25, 1.75, 2.0 and 5.0 mil (32, 45, 51 and 127 micron).
